Donvale

The main feature of this project is a free standing open gazebo. The timbers used are a mixture of old Ironbark railway sleepers and Jarrah bridge timbers.

Guidewires across the open roof section provide support for future planting of climbers.

Axis of the project is again important in the orientation of the gazebo in relation to the existing residence.

The paving and paths surounding the structure are a random size sandstone layed as a fully functioning permeable surface. The crushed rock sub base has been designed to allow percolation of rainwater through to the groundwater table in the event of a storm.
